How to clean the cooler of the air compressor?

Time: 2019-05-17

First, air-cooled cooler

1. Stop and confirm that the pressure has been released. Pull down the main power switch.

2. Open the air hood to clear the cover or remove the cooling fan.

3, use compressed air backflush to blow off the dirt, and then take the dirt out of the air hood; if it is dirty, spray some degreaser and then blow. When it is not possible to clean it by the above method, the cooler needs to be removed, soaked or sprayed with a cleaning solution and cleaned with a brush (no wire brush is strictly prohibited).

4. Install the cover or cooling fan.

Second, water-cooled cooler

1. Stop and confirm that the pressure has been released. Pull down the main power switch.

2. Disassemble the cooling water inlet and outlet pipes.

3, inject into the cleaning solution soaked or pumped with a pump cycle (backlash effect is better).

4. Rinse with water.

5. Install the cooling water into and out of the water pipe.

Third, when the oil cooler is more serious, if the cleaning is not satisfactory by the above method, the oil cooler can be removed separately, the two end caps are opened, and the scale is removed by a special cleaning steel brush or other tools. When the side of the cleaned media cannot effectively reduce the temperature, the oil side needs to be cleaned as follows:

1. Stop and confirm that the pressure has been released. Pull down the main power switch.

2. Disassemble the inlet and outlet pipes.

3, inject into the cleaning solution soaked or pumped with a pump cycle (backlash effect is better).

4. Rinse with water.

5. Dry with dry air or remove water with dehydrated oil.

6, install well the inlet and outlet pipes

Note: The air-cooled cooler material is aluminum alloy, and the water-cooled cooler material is copper. It is strictly forbidden to clean with a cleaning solution that will produce a chemical reaction.
