We all know that the inverter depends on the internal IGBT switch to adjust the output power voltage and frequency, according to the actual needs of the motor to provide the power voltage it needs, and then achieve the purpose of energy saving motor protection and measures are what? 1.The output of the frequency converter can be detected by voltage protection. The frequency converter can automatically adjust the output voltage so that the motor will not bear the overvoltage and the motor will operate within the set voltage range

2.Under voltage protection When the motor voltage is lower than 90% of the normal voltage (some set as 85%), the inverter protection stop

3.Overcurrent protection The inverter protects the motor by stopping when the motor's current exceeds 150%/3 seconds of the rated current or 200%/10 microseconds of the rated current.

4.The output voltage is monitored by phase deficiency protection. When the output is phase deficiency, the frequency converter will alarm, and the frequency converter will stop immediately to protect the motor.

5.Invert phase protection inverter can be set so that the motor can only rotate in one direction, and the rotation direction cannot be set. Unless the user changes the phase sequence of the motor A, B and C wiring, there is no possibility of invert phase.

6.The overload protection converter monitors the motor current. When the motor current exceeds 120%/1 minute of the set rated current, the converter will stop to protect the motor.

3.Overcurrent protection The inverter protects the motor by stopping when the motor's current exceeds 150%/3 seconds of the rated current or 200%/10 microseconds of the rated current.

7.The frequency converter is equipped with special grounding protection circuit, which is generally composed of grounding protection transformer and relay. When one or two phases are connected to the ground, the frequency converter will stop immediately. Of course, if the user requires, we can also design to stop immediately after grounding.

8.Short circuit protection Inverter output short circuit, will inevitably cause overcurrent, in 10 microseconds the inverter by stopping to protect the motor.

9.The overfrequency protection converter has the function of maximum and minimum frequency limit, so that the output frequency can only be within the specified range, thus realizing the overfrequency protection function.

10.Stall protection is generally aimed at synchronous motors. For asynchronous motors, the stall in the acceleration process is inevitably manifested as overcurrent. The converter realizes this protection function through overcurrent and overload protection.
